Board Members
The HCH Board of Directors are volunteer members selected statewide from nominees who demonstrate a strong interest and commitment to the public humanities. Up to five members are appointed by the Governor. Board members serve three-year terms.
Responsibilities of council members include attendance at three regular board meetings and at committee meetings, assist in private fundraising, make a financial contribution to the council, promote public awareness of the NHC and its objectives and attend and evaluate programs funded by the council.
